Mayon Volcano,is  an active volcano in the province of Albay, Bicol Region, in the Philippines.

Widely known as the "perfect cone" because of its almost perfect conical shape, Mayon is situated 15 kilometres northwest of Legazpi City.

On October 13, 2008 it was included in New7 Wonders of Nature Top 10 list. However, it did not make it to the Top 25 finalists, giving way to the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River, another site in the Philippines.

The current cone was formed through pyroclastic and lava flows from past eruptions. Mayon is the most active of the active volcanos in the Philippines, having erupted over 49 times in the past 400 years.

It is now registering rumblings and flow of lava is seen, and explosion of lava from the summit of the volcano is as high as a kilometer Thousands of people are evacuated to safer grounds.
